Brain cells???
Please (and I know theres not many of you!) do any of you have any spare brain cells you could donate to me. Since I had Emily 11 weeks ago mine have all gone. I really had a great memory before this and organised everyone and rarely forgot anything.............................
I think I had a full frontal labotomy not a c-section on the 9th June!!! Since then I have............ Lost my keys Left my front door wide open and went to Edisford bridge for the day. Left my car door wide open in town car park Left my keys dangling in the front door. regularly can't remember if i have taken my vitamin tablet and take it twice. Forget to eat. Forget what day it is. Put the TV remote control in the fridge. Forget what time I last fed Emily. Post on here logged in as Neil. (most days) Forget what I................... oh yes, wanted to type next! Tell people I will ring them and have no recollection of saying I would. Lose the window key (which has just happened and prompted this plea for cells!) Lose the phone. Go to a docs appointment on the wrong day. Have to get my mum to remind me when she is looking after the children as I have an appointment. Double book and appointment. Be stood in the bank and forget to pay a cheque in! and lots more but i forgot what they were!!! is this normal or am I losing it? Romps  (I think) |
Re: Brain cells???
Nope it gets me too Romps I was OK till my C-section ........ I wonder if we have grounds for a law suit?
I was telling you (I think it was you) about pulling up in the car at home. I just turned the engine off and got out leaving it in gear and the handbrake off ........ good job I live on a flat and not a hill ......... worse bit was mt was the first one in the car next morning and still takes the niss :o |

Re: Brain cells???
I will never forget my friend once telling me about when she was pregnant.
For starters, she once put her 3 year old daughter on the ride in the arndale, then went to look in a shop window. She totally forgot about her daughter and left the arndale to do some shopping. It was only while she was in the Kwik save Isles, on the sweetie section that she remembered she had taken her daughter shopping too. She went back to the arndale where her 3 year old was being comforted my security guards. Another time, she went to post a letter and on the way she bought some sweeties for her daughter and herself. she was stood at the post box eating the sweets and posting the wrappers in the post box instead of the letter. |
Re: Brain cells???
OMG slinky thats so funny!! Thanks I feel better knowing i am not alone!!
Tho a funny thing happened when i had my 1st child........... I was in Mothercare in Accy and had my gorgeous new baby in his new pram. I was browsing at stuff and deciding what to buy. I then, after a couple of minutes turned around to see ......OMG an empty pram. my heart jumped to my mouth I was sweating, pale shaking this was all in a split second people must have seen my total silent panic. Just as I was about to scream my baby ..he's gone, I side-stepped turned again and there he was in his pram????????? I had wondered slightly and looked in the very same pram that was onsale in the shop insted of mine!!!! told you I was numb!! |
Re: Brain cells???
