I love mine. Sometimes they can be cold when you first get in....( but I prefer that) but hell they are warm all night.

My doctor told me to get some, to help me get out of bed more easily in the morning.

They sound a bit kinky, and I'd probably not feel like getting up at all if I had 'em.:D

Re: silk sheets

Are they real silk though?

I'm getting visions of those 70's horrors...nylon sheets!

Brentford Nylon's specials, no ironing required, but enough static electricity to power a portable telly.:D

Eeeew, they sound great Cherokee .. wouldn't mind a set meself. Would definitely want the pillowcases anyway, as doesn't stick to your face when sleeping which causes those deep ruts in your face in the morning (Ok ... really mean wrinkles). As I always sleep on my left side, have noticed one side now more grooved than the other ... :D

As Rindy asked though .. are they actually silk ? .. look at the label. Silk needs hand washing really .. they could be satin, but just as lovely.

I need a new bed first though .. as very depressed now on one side .. or maybe a fella to even it out again ............. mmmmm ..... nah ...;)

But he needs to start with your head
Satin sheets are very romantic

Second best is never enough
Youll do much better baby on your own

I have egyptian cotton bed linen....expensive it was too. Or so I thought at the time, but these sheets are now over twenty years old and look good for another twenty years....in fact they will probably see me out....so they weren't expensive at all.

cherokee 29-03-2007 21:19

Re: silk sheets

will double check that label kate but silk/satin i will still be getting some more.

I've got to agree. If I was rich beyond my widest dreams, I wouldn't want fancy sports cars, or mansions by the sea, just freshly laundered Egyptian cotton sheets, changed every single day. What luxury.:)

Re: silk sheets

satin sheets and satin bed clothes!

The quilt ends up on the floor at the bottom of the bed and the pillows on the floor either side and you just slide around all over the place!!

I got my full bed set from ebay lovely they are and they were quite cheap too.
