Met up with Cashy at the Church Service. Quite a good turnout, very nice service, but still a very sad day. You will be sorely missed Jay.

Today I met a few Accywebbers.
Unfortunate circumstances though but even so it was nice to put faces to members.

One seemed intent on taking my picture, no prizes for guessing who.

Margaret P, thanks for the kind words and I hope you didn't offence when I had visions of you looking like Hattie Jacques.

Watch it lady or I will set my pet spider on you.

I was just trying to work out the last time I had a drink in pub in Accrington and Colin, the Irish landlord, had the Castle on Whalley road and the Royal on Meadow street was still open.

I was hoping for a longer chat with you Cashman, trying to recollect the 1970's when I was around the town.

All those that lived through the seventies try to recall the time, somehow we seemed to be too busy enjoying ourselves to spare the time to make memories!

Ah Russell....you are welcome and it would take much more than that to offend me.

I'm the same with the sixties Less. By the seventies I was starting to settle down a bit, only slightly.
