Re: Today I met an Accywebber...

Discovered this thread about three days ago, & have been reading since (on & off, not whole 72hrs, even if it seems like it! Does anyone know how long it takes to read 160 pages?)
Although I have been on here for yonks, mainly for the Stanley section, I have to say, I have only (knowingly) met one other Accywebber... Lancsdave. & that's only recently when I was directed to him when I wanted name & no. printing on my grandson's Stanley shirt!
Think I'll have to start wearing my personalised shirt at next few games, & hope other members will introduce themselves......... either that, or make an effort to get down to
the Railway Research Station some lunchtime, when my tally will doubtless increase 5 or 6-fold!!

Cheers
Gerard

Please don't let that traumatic experience put you off, we do have one or two normalish members you might meet in the future

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Ferretman.
It was good to meet you and chat.
Now I can put a face to a name.

Met Cashy down town, he looked grand, nothing like the coffin dodger we know him to be.
