Quite right, we let ourselves go and took advantage of cast iron tables & firm wooden top's, but who spent her time slithered underneath claiming that she doesn't drink any more?

The one's I had were excellent, unfortunately most of them where hidden around the corner and I couldn't get the pin into them.

Mick had the same problem but being a brilliant, (time served, I can tell you anything about anything, sort of engineer, (Hmmmm, sounds similar to someone we all know and love)), he used his Garlic press to crush the shells and enjoy the content's.

Nope if your careful and stop when you hear the first crack it works fine it either takes the top corner off the periwinkle or it cracks it in half ether way you can then get the periwinkle out in one go with no shell bits:D:s_boom:
Much better than waisting them at the price they are.
