I know only a few accywebbers by sight......Mick and Cashy, Mez and Katex....and my friend Bernie....and today we met in town......Bernie didn't know(other than from on here) me so being bold I introduced myself....(hope you didn't mind Bernie) and we had a little chat.
Hope I didn't delay you too long Bernie.....I know you had lots to do. It was lovely speaking to you in person.

You and hubby will have to try and get to a meet Margaret .. if only for an hour.

I can honestly say I have never met one Accywebber I dislike .. we are all different .. there again, don't think I dislike anyone really. Just love meeting them in the flesh, get a better understanding of some of their posts (can then imagine them actually saying it) and will realise not meant as abrasive as you think some posts can come across.

Re: Today I met an Accywebber...

Katex, don't think I haven't tried...but he gets into those old joggers and takes off his socks and that is him done....he gets into a recumbent posture and only the call of nature or a brew that will lift him off the settee.

I really don't understand because in company he is very sociable....and will talk to anyone on any subject.

I am very easy going, and there are few folk that I don't get along with....though some people irritate me sometimes.......I put that down to ME, not them.
One day Kate, we will turn up and surprise you all.

To the best of my knowledge, I've never met and Accywebber .... not formally, that is some of you I may have bumped into in my Clayton incarnation ... but I don't know for sure. I often wonder if, in real life, any of you resemble the personna of your posts ...

Reading this thread makes me think about taking one last trip over the pond ... but it's about 30 years since I've been there, and I don't know if I can handle the culture shock ... If I do pop over, I'll be the one with the beard, pony tail,:hippy: and tatoos, wearing a shirt with a large Maple Leaf on it so that folks don't think I'm American:D:hidewall::D
