I think that women should feel free to have babies for as long as they naturally can. It's only when I read about women having babies in their 50s and 60s through IVF that I think it's wrong.

The menopause is there for a reason. We are not designed to have babies in our 50s and 60s. :(

We are getting more women in their 40s now, than ever before. The only problem with that is that some serious pregnancy related conditions (pre-eclampsia in particular), can be more likely in the 'older' mother, making pregnancy more dangerous. I know that IVF has helped a lot of people but I think that it is ridiculous that women of 50-60 are paying to get pregnant when the risks are really huge.

Having said that, obesity causes bigger risks in pregnancy and a large amount of maternal deaths are directly linked to being overweight. I know that most IVF clinics will not help you if your BMI is above 30 these days. :)

It's all kak Flashy...some bods on her have openly put forward sterilization for young women..yes!
As for any age I presume we are talking the more mature women.. if it's nature then no problem.. if it is forced against nature then I havent got a clue.
