Just to find work for a certain administrator
 

Well it's been a couple of years now since the last accyweb awards so could I suggest that all those people with their names in gold be re-designated back to ordinary colours?

Not because they didn't deserve the recognition and acclaim they received, just to give someone something to do on these long cold days.

Nevermind taking our golden names away, mine's a lifetime achievment award, and any way mine should really be platinum, considering it was a multiple gold winning award.

If they do get binned I want my red username back, which I'd just bought with millions of saved Ackers, only a few days before the first award ceremony.

Better red than dead.

Agree that the gold should stay, but I also think that, if they do, the previous winners of gold should be resurrected too .. e.g. Margaret Pilkington who lost her gold because we had an award ceremony the next year. No signs of us having any more .. so not fair that the present ones still hold their colour. Either that, or they all go back to their default earned status.

Perhaps we could just offer gold now for contributing a certain number of posts without getting banned .... :D

I would love to run another awards ceremony but I was just so busy last year it never happened. Anyone else can take over, I'd be happy to attend. I'd like to work back stage interviewing the winners as they walk off stage clutching their trophies.
