Just Because They Were Cheap.
O.K. my mistake, can't blame anyone else, didn't read the small print.
I'd seen the weather forecast so spent most of my money on heating, the remainder went on essential food stuff, except that, for my fortnights treat I bought a multi-pack of 'Meaty Crisps'. They are awful, barbeque beef, smokey bacon so on so forth. Then amongst this so called meaty choice, I discovered a couple of packs of Worcester Sauce, confusion set in, how are they 'meaty'? So I looked at the main packet, to see if meat was used in 'Worcester Sauce', well no, it doesn't seem to be because breaking down the bull of ingredient's, all the crisps are suitable for vegetarian's, I feel cheated, how can they call them, 'Meaty Crisps'? |
Re: Just Because They Were Cheap.

Re: Just Because They Were Cheap.
Most meat flavours of crisps are vegetarian friendly I've noted, it's the cheese flavours vegetarians have to look out for as they have rennet in them.
I guess 'meaty' can mean absolutely anything really. Hence 'Beef tomatoes' and people's tendency to call mushrooms 'meaty' in certain recipes and the like lol. If it had have read 'Meat Crisps' you could have kicked up a legal fuss though :) |
