The Stag pub in church could do with a lick of paint, a carpet cleaner, some air freshener and the windows washing, why don't you give the landlord a bell?

Re: Teenage jobs!

STRAYCAT! The post above was, I found very insulting we do know the carpet needs replacing and the decor needs fixing has for the windows we do have a window clearner who is well paid, plus we do live on a main road were all the s--t blows on to our windows so its an endless job. As for you saying we need air fresheners my pub only smells of fags which you should know nicotine is a lingering smell impossible to get rid of,you did notice that it is a pub and we are open over 12 hours a day were people smoke the whole of that time. Maybe you could be saying the mens toilets are smelly it is not my fault some chaps miss the pot, like I said above another impossible task to keep up with,we work long hours here you know plus eventually when everybody go`es home I myself have to clean the pub which usually is very early hours of the morning,I do need some sleep.you may think running a pub is easy and loads of fun but let me tell you its the hardest job I have ever took on! But if you are willing to give some of your spare time happen you could come and show me how to clean! Oh and by the way the decor is going to get done very soon, when the funds are there ok!!!!! FROM ONE VERY TIRED AND P----D OFF LANDLADY!!!!!!!!!!:mad8: :mad8: :mad8: :mad8:

This would really apply to many Public Houses where ever you choose to drink. I think that it is hard to make a decent living in the pub trade.

Yes you have hit a flippin nerve, I love the stag and everything that goes with it!! Especially the people including mands, staggers, mel and boo. Your attack I have taken personally, the meets we have there we choose to have there cos it's one of the friendliest pubs ever. It is probably the only pub I would feel comfortable as a woman going in on my own and know I would be made more than welcome.....

so stick that in your pipe (sic) and smoke it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mez 27-03-2006 18:23

Re: Teenage jobs!

im the one who organizes the nights out for all accyweb members ...... we do try different pubs . but have most of the events in the stag... mainly cos its friendly homley & we have great fun in there ....if you took the trouble to look in the nightlife & events threads you can see that we do try other pubs ..... with mands & staggers with us too. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. !!!!!!

You have just dropped your self in it mate. Members are only allowed to hold one account on Accyweb.

Maybe easier Mick if you just change the thread title and remove the off topic posts about jobs.

Re: Teenage jobs!

Here's a thought 5tanley. Why not get your son to join in his own right and then he can post a request for a job in a whole new thread and you can be 5tanley and he can be lancs or something. That should be OK because there's 3 of us in this house who are AccyWeb members, not that my daughter comes on much but she did join after coming on an AccyWeb walk and brief visit to the Stag to dry off when we got rained on. :)

entwisi 27-03-2006 22:34

Re: Teenage jobs!

TBH, I'm suprised this thread has lived as long as it has. If an Accyweb member was to insult someone like has happened on this thread I personally would have expected the whole thing to have been deleted.

It is clear that 5Tanley, lancs or whoever is taking the pee. Why can't his kid (if it exists) not come on here and ask for himself. If he wants a job the very least he can do is ask himself.

It stinks of someone who like wine gums to me and would have been long gone IMHO.

Neil 27-03-2006 22:38

Re: Teenage jobs!

Ian, I think it is nice that this thread is still here. It shows Mandy and Paul that we care and that as a group of people, we will not tolerate nasty insults to our friends.

harwood red 27-03-2006 22:40

Re: Teenage jobs!

its a shame really cos the prob was actually straycat and not landc or 5tanley!! but saying that he was a plonker to open two accounts :o

entwisi 27-03-2006 22:47

Re: Teenage jobs!

Yes we care, but its still there causing upset.

Should have been deleted asap IMHO

Neil 27-03-2006 23:25

Re: Teenage jobs!

As always Ian you are entitled to your opinion - even when your wrong :p :)

5tanley 28-03-2006 12:21

Re: Teenage jobs!

Sorry guys, i thought i could do that but i didnt understand. i will make a new acount for my son and i would apperciate if this thread was deleted so we could start again.

thankyou , 5tanley

Re: Teenage jobs!

im sorry but ive only just seen this and im allowed my say now  i cant believe you have the nerve to insult my house my mum works her a** off in this pub and so does my dad and along comes an arrogant little some one who upsets every one

ill have you no all the accy webbers dont have a problem with my house and when they have a meeting they no not to expect to go to bed the same day they have got up.

Now it seems you havent even been in the stag or have you ?

If you havent then next time go in yourself before you throw horrible rotten comments towards my house and my mum and dad.

And maybe your house is just as bad if you look:dflam:

ANNE 29-03-2006 21:32

Re: Teenage jobs!

Not been on line for a few days and only just read the thread.
People want to get there facts right before they make Nasty comments like that.
This guy is just a jerk.
Take no notice Mands.
We all love the stag.
You and Staggers look after us brilliantly.
Sorry to be off thread but I had to put my two pennath in.

i have employed 3 teenagers at different times in the past, mostly as saturday lads. what a load of hassle! is it their age? upbringing? god knows. i think a one legged pensioner with a heart complaint would be more useful. my latest one is the pick of his age group, hard working, reliable. he just totally amazed me, and i could not believe it. he leaves soon for the army and im sure he will go far.but the rest? even my own........border on useless. it just totally puts you off bothering at all with their age group.
