Is this the Oak Lea opposite the Grey Horse pub?

Are you going to be involved with the running of this place when it re-opens, after the building work is complete?

Yeah, that's the one. My girlfriend & myself are the new managers.

We take over on 1st Dec, & we are open for business on the 15th Dec.

Is it gonna be a bit like the Wembley Stadium situation, where events have to be cancelled and moved elsewhere, due to incomplete building work? :rolleyes:

The building work is actually a couple of days ahead of schedule. I haven't been up there this weekend because i've been in Skipton. But hopefully, the new conservatory should now be on. I'm trying my best to sort through all exsisting booking & to confirm them. It's not easy, i've had 3 hours to myself since Friday, & that's when i slept.

yep good luck, i'm sure you'll make it a great place. It did use to be ok, but towards the end they just gave up :(

Kitchen Operative i just seen it on job centre site... i have my basic food hygiene certificate have a years expiriance in the trade but also go full time at college but most of my days finish around 1-2, im not expirienced as im only 17... i was working at Blackburn rovers for northcote offsite, i packed it in as it was a ball ache getting the bus every morning to ewood park im willing to work when ever needed and also would like to get more expirience under my belt, im also a trainee chef so i would have to get shown how to do a few things....
