wanted APPRENTISHIP FOR 16yr OLD / ELECTRICIAN
 
Hi my son is currently looking for an apprentiship as an electrician either domestic or commercial. If any1 knows of anything let me know............................

It might be worth your son enrolling for a BTEC Electronics course at your local college - this will give him something to do and gain him some skills as well. While he is there the college will have industry links and information on Modern Apprenticeships where he can get paid and still attend college on day release whilst doing the actual job the other 4 days. Good luck to him - I hope he find something soon

yes he has just passed he gcse`s , he has a 100% attendance through the whole of his secondary school , he has worked reliably for the past 2 yrs, he is keen and wants to learna trade in wich he has interest....................................

Try training 2000 in blackburn.

training 2000 just scratched thier head and told us they don`t cater for sparky`s

he has signed himself up at acc & ross college and started today and they told him he has to find his own placement by 1/2 term...............

Give business link a ring ask then if they have any business contacts or start ups looking for an Spark's apprentiship on the ETP programme......He may have to travel.

well we have around 7 electricians at our works the youngest is still an apprentice at 18 and all of them have gone through training 2000 ????? strange!

Thanks for that I will contact training 200 again as I thought it strange aswell. I have had dealings with them before for my apprentices and had no probs so tried and tested I would like him to of used them.

when you call t2000 ask for john parkin - he sorts out all our apprentices at emerson and renwick and he definately deals with sparkies cos he dealt with me! :)

i served my time with norweb when they took on a batch each year, but thats all finished now. traditional apprenticeships are very difficult to find. good luck !
