Anyone familiar with St Johns Baxenden. Just been in the chemist across the road and when I came out I noticed the buttresses are very similar to those in the picture with two slabs. I took some photos and will try and upload them, unless someone has some photos of the church.
Dont know if it is identical but closest yet I think...
Dont know what connection there is to our family though.... if there is one....

I found this one on the net: group picture between buttresses!

St Johns windows are all too Gothic. The ones in your pic look more like a Sunday school or school than a church to me.
