I wanted something a bit larger. Something I could hold and not drop. Something that wasnt the size of a mobile phone and could easily be lost. Etc etc. The zoom sold it to me. Over the 16mp I was thinking of getting Quote:

Not very picturesque, the tip on the left, through to the Coppice. As I didn't know where I was going, best to get any shot you can.

Three views taken from the Huncoat war memorial, the Coppice , Hameldon, and Pendle. then it was onto Today in Pictures.

Hi Dave I have a Nikon Coolpix P500 takes good panoramiic pics but when you view them they only cover the middle 3rd of the screen,is there any way to get them to show full screen?I have some software that will show 360 moving full screen views but only thing is they are ment to be put in web pages.Hope I havn't prattled on to much lol

On my camera there is the option to choose how much panoramic you can take, it starts with 120 degrees, then 180 degrees, and finishes with a full 360 degrees. Its difficult to view them on the rear screen of the camera as the format doesnt fit the screen, its only when you upload them to your computer that you get to see the full picture. Is that what you wanted to know, if not get back to me. |

Views from Hapton Quarry, Accy to the left through to the edge of Burnley. The weather was a bit nasty, so the light is not there.

A few panoramics of my ascent up to the top of Hapton Quarry/Scouts.
Accrington is always off to the left, with Hapton sort of in the center, with Burnley far right If you require more details see "Today in Pictures" for the full journey. |
