The smell was incredible -camomile is out a the moment and elderberry, also lots of poppies -found a fantastic wheat field full of poppies at one point. Loads of birdsong -all very peaceful -a few fishermen and some other "serious" cyclists were on the path (the Giro D'Italia is on at the moment so they're all out on their racing bikes. I move out of the way as I am a slow but graceful peddle-pusher! Lovely and shady in the Elm woods and at the end have added a shot which shows the mediaeval tower in the distance -it is in the center of Cremona.

Dianne, the pictures of the poppies in the fields are absolutely beautiful.
I am envious. I would love to be able to see them around her, but we only have buttercups. Karma sent for your pics(unsigned - my mouse fell off the desk and hit the 'enter' key).

Ah. Then you was correct :)

I wanted something a bit larger. Something I could hold and not drop. Something that wasnt the size of a mobile phone and could easily be lost. Etc etc.

The zoom sold it to me. Over the 16mp I was thinking of getting

Not very picturesque, the tip on the left, through to the Coppice. As I didn't know where I was going, best to get any shot you can.

On my camera there is the option to choose how much panoramic you can take, it starts with 120 degrees, then 180 degrees, and finishes with a full 360 degrees.
Its difficult to view them on the rear screen of the camera as the format doesnt fit the screen, its only when you upload them to your computer that you get to see the full picture.
Is that what you wanted to know, if not get back to me.

Views from Hapton Quarry, Accy to the left through to the edge of Burnley. The weather was a bit nasty, so the light is not there.

A few panoramics of my ascent up to the top of Hapton Quarry/Scouts.

Accrington is always off to the left, with Hapton sort of in the center, with Burnley far right

If you require more details see "Today in Pictures" for the full journey.
