They are, but the water seems to confuse the camera sometimes and the images don`t line up correctly.

If you hadn't said I wouldn't have noticed, even when I knew it was hard to spot.

I like these shots,Do you need what's commonly known as a 'SLR camera' with a certain lens for these type of wide shots? Could you do them with a Fuji finepix bridge camera?

You can make a panoramic with any camera, I posted a pic a while back taken with a 3GS (page 42, post #630 of this thread), you take a series of pics, each one needs to overlap the last slightly, you then stitch them together with editing software. Most cameras can automate it for you, you`ll need to check the manual to see if yours does.

I know my 4s takes panoramic pics (without software),like you say "I'll need to check the manual" to see if there's a feature on the camera.Nice1 :)

Yesterday we met up with the "Trakker Fans" presenting themselves at the local "Shutzenfest" & being as it was outdoors, damp & grey, refuge was sought within the comforting embrace of the Beer tent & caravans to wetten ourselves from the inside too! Before yours truly succumbed to the evils of drink & proceeded to get rascally drunk! :D (well at bit gibbery at least.....;)) I managed a couple of snaps & here they are for your delectation. :)

The rather soggy "Schutzenfest", inside sanctuary, Germans camped out on the steppe with their heavy equipment (very Germanic), said heavy equipment. :)
