I knew that five arches was gone.........it seemed ever such a long trek for our little legs...and crossing the pipes over the water too...one little hovis loaf and a medicine bottle of spanish water, hardly seems enough sustenance now.

I will have to have a look at my camera's to see if they do this panorama stuff ...and how it works.

I do like taking pics...but prefer somewhere a bit scenic.

Have a look at my flickr pics.

I just noticed I posted one worthy of the delete button. Yeah it happens a lot a first(especially with my phone) but the results are great

well, one of my camera's came with a bit of editing software to do panorama shots...but it was a real fag to use, wasn't overly impressed by the results.
I can't see any settings on my current camera's that do panorama shots...will have to look at the instructions(I don't refer to them unless something goes wrong - I fly by the seat of my pants).

He was actually saying this is my best side , use this.
The location if you look at the picture you will see a bit of the wall is missing adjacent the canal, that is the exact location, we were close to the bridge at Altham/Burnley Road. I was about to go over the bridge when I took the panoramic.

What do you do if you are too weak to lift it.

Silly me, the location of the waterfall is Hyndburn Brook, again see post 45, but it is further downstream. To get to it you have to go down Barnes Street, round the flat iron, and just as you get to the footpath that goes to Gt. Harwood take a sharp left through the iron gates. It is only a short walk, but in summer when the trees are in leaf it is a nice walk. At the moment it is not very well known, so keep it to yourself, or it will get busy.

yes there are some just as you go on the footpath to Gt. Harwood, but you are in the right area.
