He has a routine now, when I get my camera out he sits down, he has learnt that when I start , I could be while, especially if I am on all fours, or flat out.

Dave, is the Milnshaw Park sign on the road coming in from Lancaster Ave?.
also are the bowling greens behind the fence. We spent a lot of time in Gatty and Milnshaw when the kids were gowing up. Your pictures bring back many memories. Thanks.

It is the one you think it is, the fence is a recent adition, I say recent, in the last few years. The greenhouses and additional buildings are no longer there neither is the toilet block, or the dahlia bads. Glad it brings back memories.

Its a trig point (triangulation Point) used in conjunction with other trig points by surveyors to determine heights, locations, and stuff, don't fully understand how its used. but on the top is a brass inlay for equipment placing, I have come across others on Longridge Fell and Pendle Hill.

Sony SLT A58K. Only came with one lens though, so no zooming for me yet till I get another. Was a toss up between that, Nikon 3200 or Canon D600. Each had there pros and cons, but this seemed the better for the pics I take.
Lots of settings and gimmicks to experiment with.

Now that is a nice camera, I almost bought the Sony compact system camera, but they were all out of stock when I tried to buy one.

Re: 3D Panoramic Pics

You can make a panoramic with any camera, I posted a pic a while back taken with a 3GS (page 42, post #630 of this thread), you take a series of pics, each one needs to overlap the last slightly, you then stitch them together with editing software. Most cameras can automate it for you, you`ll need to check the manual to see if yours does.

I know my 4s takes panoramic pics (without software),like you say "I'll need to check the manual" to see if there's a feature on the camera.Nice1 :)

Over the week we've been able to see some sights, and here they are!

The Industrial side of Osnabrück Hafen (at the end of the ZweigKanal) - A job half done, a partially mown field - The "Spitze" where the ZweigKanal meets the Mittelland Kanal, basically a watery T-Junction - A trekker "Drag Streck", some sort of competition to keep the Tractor Boys & Girls amused (although there's a perfectly good Beer Wagon near by ....) - See I told you! Down there on the left, a fully working Beer Wagon, oh & someone flattening the course for the next competitor - Simplicity itself, sunshine, tractors & local yokels. :D
