Yes I was, I often go out and look at that building early on - I wondered what all the police and fire engines where doing rushing by - then put on the TV and they were talking about it - but by then all the streets were blocked off by Police. Even when it was full daylight you couldn't see the top of that tower it was shrouded in fog.

Not a proper Today contribution due to a few busy days, I did manage to snap 3 pics though.

Frosty moss, and a swan walking on the canal.

Today in Pictures, theres no business like snow business.

1. Its fine snow, with impaired visibility.
2. Passing Jackhouse Reservoir I took this footpath, not the most sensible idea, I wont be going back that way.
3. Its not a bridge to far, as I'm only half way around.
4. Hands up if you have seen an icicle that goes around corners.
5. You can never have to many icicles.
6. You cant see it, but the snow is horizontal with a bitting wind.
7. Oy !........... stop eating snow.
8. This used to be the top reservoir.
9. The lane that goes up the side of the reservoir.
10. Its a left turn here and back to the car.

I managed to get quite a lot of the robin.I put some leftover pastry from our tea last night under the bushes and the robin came down straight away.

We don't send as many as we used to.It's too expensive now.We tend to send e cards to our friends who have internet.
