It looks a bit dodgy down there, are you sure I will be safe from highwaymen?
Maybe I should take my trusty rusty pistol in case I have to defend us from the vagabonds.

Non stick are most certainly the worst ones.
They bounce of your bonce and it gives your assailant a second chance.

The sticky ones just hang on and pull your hair out, I should know, I have been hit on the head so many times with the sticky ones I have no hair left.
That's the punishment for coming in from the pub after my dinner had gone cold.

I resemble your remarks Dave which are an insult to my character.
I therefore challenge you to a dual.

Saucepans at dawn and a limit of ten inch diameter and a handle no more than a foot long.
Your choice, stick or non stick.

I want to dispel the myth that I have no legs and drive every where.
Today I went down to see my old mate at Dunkirk Farm, Read, where I spent ten happy years either running the caravan park or spreading slurry on the fields.

No. 1 The lane down from Whalley Road.
No. 2 The view from the top of the lane.
No. 3 An old friend.
No. 4 Every where you look the view is spoilt by these monsters. Taken from the other side of the Calder across from Walton Arms.
No. 5 Even the river has a reflection of a pylon.
No. 6 A bit of the Calder. It's a long walk from the farm.
No. 7 To prove I got out of my car, there it is away in the distance.
No. 8 The old railway track bed leading to Martholme Viaduct., private but I am allowed on it.
No. 9 The Viaduct from the farm side. (Long lens)
No. 10 Polly climbing down to say hello.

Avaunt Sirah! I'd take the challenge if we put it back a bit (don't do early mornings :D) Non stick would be the arm of choice, most definitely.

Oh, at least two hundred yards and then back to the car, that makes four hundred yards, that was just to prove my point that I can walk.
I will admit to driving along the edge of the field to the river bank.

You are on gallant Knight, how about just after closing time when my aim is unsteady? I have to give you youngsters a fair chance.
Pick your second and a good saw bones.

Please enlighten me Dave, where is the BIG shop and where were the photos taken?
The photos are of places I don't know about. I must have led a sheltered life, I have lived in this neck of the woods for many years now but most of your photos are of places I have never seen.

I must get some goose grease on my leg joints and start walking about it bit more.

What the heck, if God wanted me to walk he wouldn't have let me pass my driving test.

The Big shop is more quantity than location, and the location for the snaps was Cutwood Park in Rishton, and within parking and walking distance, I was for part of the walk in the bushes, and then around the reservoir.
