Accrington Web - Today in pictures

Today in Pictures, another tootle around the colliery.

1. Its dark clouds and sunny at the same time.
2. Hanging over the bridge.
3. The flowering currants are starting.
4. So is the Gorse.
5. Time for a teazel.
6. Or two.
7. Stick a bit of fungi in for good measure.
8. Or a bit of Pussy Willow.
9. Or two.
10. Back on all fours for a Crocus

Not pics from today....well, except I didn't get back home until after midnight....and have only just looked at my pics.

alas I cannot take the credit for that, it was one of the backdrop pictures - but I liked it a lot.
I did convert it to monochrome as I think it is very effective for pictures like this.
I am going to blog about the concert a little later...and there will be more pics on my blog...and there are already some on my Flickr site.

Eric, it looks like spring is a long time coming.
Great pics though - well from an aesthetic point of view. I wouldn't like the snow fairy to think I wanted to have some of the cold white stuff sprinkled near me.

Out & about this aft' sunny & hazy, you could almost believe Spring is on the way. :)

Fields out back where Deer roam - Can you see them yet - Max on the lens & there he be - I can see St.Martinus from here too - A little ways up the berg one time housing for "Bombenbeschadigt" bombed out evacuees from Osnabruck 1943/44 - Hound heaven - Said Hound - Wild Rabbit amongst the stubble.
