other than that, this is a pictorial record of some of my day.
I only did the walk to school to pick up the tinlids..but went via the Canal bank.

1) Sid Spider - a resident of our bedroom
2) Gizmo - Cashy take note..he looks well but is going blind(cataracts)
He can still smell a biscuit at 20 paces.
3)Zeus - a neighbours cat. Likes me, but Pasha hates him!
4)The Canal Bank - on my walk to school to pick up the tinlids.
5)Zeus - posing(tart)
6) Old stone wall - on the far bank of the canal. I like the colour and the
texture. Was probably part of the Floating Soap Factory.
7)Nettle(?) flowers...well that is what I think they are.kept well away on
the off chance.
8) Speedwell - at least that is what I think they are.
9) A duck weighing me up.

Yes and the camera has a sunset setting on it too.....in scene mode...so I'm sure that yours will have the same...should you by some chance stumble on a sunset. :D

Common Hemp-nettle, Galeopsis tetrahit. Doesn't sting. Got some in my garden.

Think 8 is forget me not.

Speedwell - Veronica chamaedrys
Playing With Flowers forget me not
Different shade of blue, different shape leaves. Same family, but also there are several different kinds of speedwell.

When we came here there was lots of speedwell, very weedy. Now the garden is full of forget me nots, they follow me everywhere. The speedwell has all but gone.

I have found the setting, its the sunsets I cant find, it was raining here when you said you were taking the sunsets. I suspect it was just over this house to thwart my attempts, and its not the first time I've been thwarted.

British Wildflowers Identification | Wild About Britain have been using this site to brush up on my wild stuff. Might be of use to you.

Nice pics on that site Dave but don't seem to be in any particular order, alphabetical or botanical, so you may end up trawling through them all to find what you want.
