They never breakdown at convenient times, and when they do it has consequences that were never anticipated.

Oh dear.....been there, done that....now have things backed up in several places......but it is a salutary lesson to us all.
Back up those files......you only lose the ones you want to keep.

Its not so tragic, and every cloud etc. I got to have a trip to Saigon to the Asus service ctr, and treat myself and the missus to a posh restaurant with western food. To be honest my computer was a mess, I had years of stuff filed all over the place, totally disorganised, half of it never to be used again. I was in the middle of sorting it as I have started posting stuff on Accy web and it was taking me ages to find pictures that I knew I had but didn't know where, when "puff" everything gone. Lot of handy things filed on my Hotmail, all my active corry etc. I got all my favorites back when I signed into Google chrome, You tube guitar tutors, Hotels, Hospital locations, various shops, Loads of handy stuff, so no worries really. Now everything is organised, I am filing stuff as it happens so it's where I can find it now. Just found my memory stick this morning so all that stuff will go on in an orderly fashion. Some interesting stuff on there so that will get posted on the site eventually.

My sister in law who lived out in Australia actually did this......she bought a house she liked and it was put it on the back of a low loader and transported it to her daughters homestead...which was in the next town.

Following Dave and Margaret's tips n how to use photoscape I have adjusted the B&W themed photo again. Quite pleased with the result - will have to ask Mick to upload it to the competition as it just won't work for me!

That's 'cos you made it seem so easy - not bad for a first attempt - I will be looking out for further suitable subjects now. Gives a different slant on things. Thanks again -I tried to send you some Karma but it wouldn't let me the other day... :)

Have just managed ;)

You will look at pictures now with different eyes.......I see pictures that can be 'messed' with and I itch to do it.......but if they are someone else's pics I usually hold off until I have asked.
For the Karma...Thank-you. I am glad to be able to help.

I came home this afternoon and saw the rose tree had flowered again, third time this year.
Out with the camera, intruder made the snap more interesting. I thought I would try to be a bit artistic so I framed it.
