2. The sun behind a tree (just in case you didn't get it)
3. I'm on the floor again.
4. I think those leaves are glad its time to change position.
5. Why are the vast majority of Fungi in shades of brown?
6. See.
7.Getting ready.
8. So is this one.
9. Will this have time to flower.
10. Just to finish off, another flat on my face shot.

Wow!

On a nice day like today we let Max choose were to go. We wrote three different walks on three pieces of paper and asked him to bring one. He chose Longridge Fell with lunch at the Eagle and Child Hurst Green

Amazingling clear weather - great views!

I wanted to see if I could spot the Kingfishers.....well yes I could, but they were far to fast for me to capture.

The only thing I managed to capture were some bovines.
These were not the fighting commando bovines...they were just cowardly cows.
As I got closer, they ran away.....mooing 'no publicity...no pictures'.

I didn't see anything much worth snapping......I got muddy and wet,(though not Davemac wet)trod in a pasture pie that was hiding and these are all I have to show for it.

Shepherds delight!

They have come down from the summer mountain pastures and are now grazing the harvested maize fields. Spotted them behind our farm this evening (photo 7 shows our farm looking back from where the sheep were grazing).

One more shot of the moon on a reasonably clear night.

Woken up this morning to the sound of a passing aircraft, seeing as the camera was still handy I took this photo.
I have no idea where he was going he sounded to be hanging about a while.

Yes, I got quite a few glimpses.
I found it very frustrating. There I was with my camera trained on a spot and the blooming thing winged in and out before I could press the shutter.
I think my reflexes are slowing down.....but it is bad when you can only be quick enough to snap bovines:).

I think I will be going down there again, but in wellies......so that I can wash the cow clap off them easily.......my trainers needed a good going over with an old toothbrush to get the manure out of the soles.

You captured this time of day beautifully, Dianne. I wondered what the big things among the sheep were, until I saw number 8. What a beautiful place! :)

There's a chap from burnley gone missing, last seen around Ossy, perhaps they were looking for him.

Thank gpick, thats probably what they were doing up there.
The helicopter would be probably over Queens road area when I took the photo from my bedroom but he started to circle toward Ossy and I lost him behind the house, I was in my night attire so didn't go to the front to get another shot. My night attire, by the way, is what I was wearing when I was born.

I really like the one of Squire Farm - I used to see that tower on the horizon when I was walking to school down Sandy Lane, many many moons ago :)
