Sorry to hear that. I did suggest to Mick that maybe the Comp. should be postponed until everyone can enter, but he thought it best to continue.

Just a few tonight, getting sick of these dark evenings already.

While I am not a fan of the dark evenings, I think your pics of them are pretty spectacular.
I particularly like number 4......it has an eerie quality about it.

A nice misty start to the day.

Lovely!

I don't get to take the dusk shots, or the early morning shots anymore.
A lone female with a camera out on the canal bank after dark......it just doesn't seem a sensible thing to do.....and my eyesight in dim light leaves much to be desired too.
I would probably end up in the drink.......that would be a really wet gusset.

This was the view from Grane Road, I was on my way to work with nothing to see but fog, then as I pulled into the estate I saw a lovely red sky in the direction of the wind farm so turned around and went to investigate.

Get yourself a jam jar ... put a candle in it ... make a handle by tying string around it ... worked for me when I was a nipper.;)

It isn`t so much the dark evenings Eric, more the lack of photographic opportunities, by the time I get home and had some tea the sun is well on its way to Oz.
