Went on a boat trip last week.

1. The boat we went on.
2-8. Easily the highlight of any boat trip i`ve ever been on, a pod of dolphins, including calves, interacting with the boat then of for a sardine supper.
9. Jet skiing was available on the trip, but the ones who did it missed the dolphins.
10. The sunset at the end of the trip.

some beautiful shots there...and I like the balletic ones of the two dolphins.
I am sure that they perform for the trippers.....and they seem to get as much joy out of it as those who are watching.
We went on a similar trip in Queensland some 12 years ago and the more the people on the boat applauded, the more the dolphins seemed to perform.
It is truly memorable

A few more from my jollies..

1. A colourful crab.
2. A bit of a ridge walk up into the hills.
3. Puerto Rico.
4 & 5. Gran Canaria landscape.
6. Puerto Rico again.
7. This looked fun.
8. Couldn`t resist a play, a composite of the jumping dolphins photo from yesterday and the sunset from the same night.

Love number 8.
It looks quite autumnal and misty in a couple of the pics.
Hope you had a relaxing time.

Dean Clough, it had a feeling of Autumn, things had a brownness to them, if you know what I mean.

A few from Southport airshow today.

Was going to go but the traffic last year was a nightmare and the journey to southport took us three hours.....so we gave it a miss.
It is good to see the pics though....some great shots there.
Just like I would have aimed for(and missed:))

It was a lot quieter this year, probably busier last year because it was the Vulcans last visit. Took about two hours to get home last year, about 45 minutes this year.
Lots more pics to go through tomorrow, spent most of tonight clearing space on the laptop.

I was just entering the pines at Dean Clough when they flew overhead (red arrows) in two formations, they appeared to be over Rishton when they turned towards Southport.

That looks a bit 'Davemac' to me Frank.
Did you have to get permission to invade his wetlands :)?

No it was out of bounds for Dave Mac. I had to get permission to cross the Northern Border to get to them.
