well it's finally happened the gypsy's are camping out on the old t.m.l. site.

i noticed yesterday that one of the entrance gates was down , got up this

morning & there are 5 caravans there.

I know they are building houses on what was the old spring hill school site, not sure about there, might have a drive past on my way out later

its the old works site on exchange st. now opposite the new springhill school,

they are building on the old school site, bungalows i think,

oops forgot to say that there has been an application put in for at least 98 houses to be built on this site .........(old t.m.l site)

not sure whats happening tho' maybe somthing to do with the recession? katex will know more than me about this.

Well LOL, only that planning permission was refused, don't know whether there has been a re-submission . haven't found one yet :-

Well myself I'm all for live and let live but these people take the biscuit, they're not content with setting up camp and behaving reasonably, they turn the area into tip within days, terrorise the surrounding area, things start to walk from garden sheds and Church roofs and then they wonder why people despise them. The only trouble is each time the council want to move these people on, they have to go through the rigmarole of going through the courts each time. Its about time that councils could get exclusion order for the whole borough which last twelve months instead of having to mess about every time another mod arrive:mad:

Wonder if the ones that were on the Sports Centre car park have moved on. Agree with Jaysay, they should be able to use the court orders more than once.
