Space 1999

Just watching a re-run of the sci-fi prog' Space 1999 on itv4, Oh my God how dated it is.
I remember watching it first time around I think it was made in the mid 70's and 1999 seemed such a long way off at the time, but even back then it seemed quite amateurish compared to such things as 'Star Trek', but I'm determined to watch this episode right to the end.
After all it might be rubbish, but it's British rubbish and was made by Gerry Anderson the father of such wonderful programmes as Stingray, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, and Joe 90,

Re: Space 1999

I can't explain it proper Dave, which is bugging! It had human actors, not puppets. The 'monsters' were pretty terrible effects lol! Sounds like any other 70's/80's sci-fi programme doesn't it :(

None of em spring out Less. I'll have a quick Google at images with those titles, see if I recognise any characters.
