Dennis Cook originally from Blackburn moved to Huncoat next door to Jezz 30+years ago, he worked at Lucas in Burnley and after managing Accy Stanley got involved in Junior Football Coaching and Enfield Cricket Club. I guess you had moved South then Mog.

It was part of our "run" on a night out down town. Very busy for a couple of years, had to go out one door, down the pavement and back in the other door to use the gents, it was that busy, mind you it was the same in the Bridge at the time! Happy daze.

Rarely see barrels these days, they still have some in Ossy Con or did have, but you had to ask for one or you'd get a schooner

I always thought a schooner was a large sherry glass. Never heard the term used for what I would call a straight pint glass.

Oh dear I'm getting thirsty!
