wireless help
 
hi peeps really need some help with this wireless jobby!driving me mad :mad:,we er on the lastest hub wiv bt think its 3???got online no worries 1st 24hrs then silly things happened!my wireless light is on,but it says i have no wireless:confused: i have done the resetting the hub,re starting the lappy,setting up a wireless network etc im on windows xp can anyone help???

Don't reset the hub if you had a connection.. place your laptop as close as possible to the hub and search connections.

what ssay you have no wireless

if its you laptop you have most likely switched off teh wireless button some have on the laptop on the outside

also look for a wireless symbol on your keys usually on the numbers in blue and press the FN button while pressing the wireless key to enable and disable it.

my mate went a week without internet and all that had happened was he had caught the wireless button on the front of the laptop

wireless is deffo on....im conneted now thru the yellow wire but really need wireless its drivin me mad now

Why?

Wifi on the laptop might be working perfectly and it could be the router at fault.
