Messages Disappear

In OutlookExpress I moved some messages to a newly opened file; decided to rename the file and the messages disappeared. Where have they gone? how do I recover them?

What email provider are you using? you could sign into your email via website and see if your message are stored there ?

co-inciend that you start receiving duplicate emails?

What ISP do you use, what email provider?

what protocol? pop, imap etc? if you dont know ask how to check
