This takes some getting used too. Bought a 19" TFT monitor and its like ...wow, in yer face ! :D

How's this for a senario jimmi5bellies, the old monitor I take it was like an old tv set, yes, to heavy for a non computer literate wife/husband to chuck at you,yes, they can now.

Ugh. At college they have some pcs with HUGE monitors that you have to sit right in front of.. they scare me :(

But have you set it up correctly?

Whats its native resolution, have you changed your settings to match?

What about colour temp? do you print pictures, if yes then make sure its callibrated to match your printer so you get pictures that look like they did on screen.

Is it DVI enabled and if so is your graphics card also DVI. Use this instead of the old VGA connector for best quality

heh, no, sad is not only having my twin screen setup , I also usually have a single monitor setup on a second PC that I use simultaneously plus I usually have my personal laptop going as well(Amarok to play music hooked into our wifi lan as the desktop internet access is very slow due to the number of people trying to use it) so thats 4 screens, two keyboards and 3 PCs on one desk. Having said that teh desk next to me has a stack of 8 Pcs running alsorts of stuff and we all login via remote desktop so we may have 4 or 5 PCs going on one screen plus I'm likely to be logged into at least 6 or 7 unix boxes at any one time over SSH.

Bloody hell Ian, i struggle with 1 pc & 1 screen. lol

I used to run two/three computers ACTIVLY :p Played a online game and had a character on each... was fun :p
