Just a couple of examples of how stupid it is to leave phone numbers on the internet.
1. got a missed call on my mobile, typed it into google, took me to my bosses daughters facebook page where i could get allsorts of details.
2. Mrs 24 got some malicious texts, very nasty, found a website that could do reverse telephone number tracing - give them a phone number, they tell you allsorts of personall stuff you wouldn`t want just anyone knowing (see attachement)

The mods have spotted it and putting your mobile number on site is stupid and done at your own risk but not against the site rules
however landline numbers are against site rules as one member put a landline number on for something the owner of that number contacted me asking why we where hosting his ex-directory number on site and threatened to sue the site so we do not allow any landline numbers on site.

Well considering we usually have over 100 guest on here every time I'm on, is enough not to include your landline number without it being a site rule Mick, but some folk don't get what damage they can inflict on themselves
