Locking Outlook Express

Is there anyway that I can lock my Outlook Express to prevent colleagues going through my e-mails when I am not in the office.

Re: Locking Outlook Express

What operating system do you use? You can't lock an individual application. You need to lock teh whole PC. If you have Window NT, 2000 or XP and have a password on your account you can lock the screen which will only allow yourself and the administrator to unlock it. If you have 95/98/me then no you cannot easily lock it. There are things you can do to make it difficult for them. Let me know if you need this info

One thing of note is that if your PC has the general Computer Misuse notice they would risk imprisonment and/or a BIG fine if they went beyond their authority. The notice does not need to be displayed on teh screen, Just a poster/sticker at the bottom of the screen is enough. There is also Data Protection Act that you could use.
