Tis a sad thing
Looks like Ronaldo has got his own ideas about were he will play next year... No beating about the bush ( well maybe sometimes after a few lagers) .
but I put this firmly on the doorstep of Jambutty and the likes.. Now you may have rid of him, what now?.. do you want the EPL to have the best players? or .. in your untold wisdom .. are you glad to see the back of Ronaldo? |

Re: Tis a sad thing
In his world of untold wisdom..Sepp blatter the FIFA president has stated that if a player (Ronaldo) feels he wants to move from his club.. then in these days of freedom within sport he/she should be able to do so.
Of course!..but what is the point of footballers signing contracts?...in this Ronaldo case it is blantant that Real Madrid have been "touching him up" which is against the rules that Blatter instignated..again it's one rule for English clubs and another rule for others. |
Re: Tis a sad thing
Would he be move if he was deemed to be in breach of contract and ManU used the full weight of the law in this country (not footy rules regs and law)? It is though there is a struggle on to who has the most pulling power almost like a gang of single lads night out. The R man must be loving this whole carry on and must have done some butt licking of Blatter to try and force his way.
The money he has made seems to have gone to his head and greed has set in along with the cash lawn on the otherside of the fence. Does he not realise that should his move to Spain is as successful as David Coultards British F1 race on Sunday that he will be stuck as the Spanish will not let him go. |
Re: Tis a sad thing
Spuggie...Ronaldo is well paid at Old Trafford..Madrid may pay him a few grand more but I don't think it's money..he wants to play for Madrid like all kids dream of doing..but it's the "tapping up"..Madrid have been making daily statements about how much they want Ronaldo..each day his transfer fee goes lower..Madrid have breached the FIFA laws but nowt's going to happen..Sepp Blatter and Platini (UEFA) hate the Brits!

So Madrid are the poachers and FIFA Blatter and UEFA are the game keepers turning a blind eye as in there eyes ManU are more villinous than Madrid.. Maybe I am too out of touch with Euroland footy but if I was a player then I would rather play at ManU than Madrid and I hate ManU. In a way there seems in my eyes to be a fear of ManU and its global appeal so they are trying to undermine them by bending the rules they as assosiations have made. If this was polotics I would say that there is a brown bag with large denominational value in the offing. |
Re: Tis a sad thing
You are right about the sly bits of cash..well not bits but £1000's that have been given as bribes..some high ranking FIFA officials have been found guilty of taking bribes but still hold a place on the FIFA board...as yet the lone English member has not been accussed of taking cash....Platini and Blatter hate our guts..plain and simple.

Re: Tis a sad thing
Sep Blatter should keep his nose out, he is in charge of international football, not the premier league, the premiership has absolutely nothing to do with the goon, if ronaldo goes, so be it, one player doesnt make a team, and it has been proven at old trafford more than anywhere else, more fool ronaldo, United have proven to be the better team again this season, take the money and buy more loyal players.

Re: Tis a sad thing
i would take the money hes looking a bit overweight now plus hes overated:o:D

Re: Tis a sad thing
Can't believe Blatter compared Ronaldos situation to modern day slavery!
What planet is this fool from! As for Ronaldo,as good a player as he is,if he wants to go let him. If his heart(and wallet) isn't there to play for Utd then get as much money as possible for him. I'm sure Utd will cope without him. |
Re: Tis a sad thing
Why do footballers have to be so greedy,,,,It all boils down to money,,What they "EARN"in a month would keep me in luxury for years...
