We will expect to get 0 points out of those 2 matches so in that case neither of us will be dissapointed. However if we take 1 point from those 2 matches, we will be pleased and you will look a pillock ( again ).

Our promotion has come back to bite few on the backside on here, I can assure you I will drag up this thread if needed. :D

Par for the course, all promoted teams are favourites to go straight back down. Whatever happens, against all odds we have got there, if it means it's only one season then it's more than some :D

The only arrogance I can see here is your self opinionated twaddle. But then that is par for the course for many members of this forum.

JB it is a trait with plastic Mancs, to say two hours after Burnley gain promotion that thy would be cannon fodder at the Theatre of Merchandising is arrogant, Burnley maybe in the top flight but they'll soon find out that is not a level playing field they think it is, the establishment is geared towards 4 clubs, Burnley, like Rovers can expect around 10 live appearances on TV, where as the top 4 will be seen 30+ every season.

I have a confession to make :o
You all know my distaste for football.
I could not resist tuning to the last 10 minutes of the radio broadcast and found the mood of the crowd exhilarating.:)
Something that stirs up so much joy in people can't be all bad can it?:D

Well done Burnley! I watched the highlights, the goal was sublime, some of the football was good, but looked to me like they will have to raise the level for the premiership, I could put up with Burnley staying up next season in place of Sunderland though! :D

Would just like to add my congratulations to Burnley, after the season they've had they deserve the promotion.

:tongueout:tongueout:tongueout

Burnley have played 61 matches this season and only used 23 players ... dont you think that its about time that some people bit their tongues and congratulated them for getting the promotion ..

Only the most deluded would think having got there we will stay there for long. We've got there, we will enjoy the season we get. If we get more than one season at the first attempt it will be like winning promotion again :)

As for level playing fields, a town with a population of 70,000 is never going to compete on a level par with a team like Utd who have a population of millions, ( not sure how big the population of London is these days ;) )

I think the Burnley manager put it into context quite well when he observed that the attendance now at Old Trafford is larger than the population of Burnley.

Wouldn't they be getting a little old:confused:

Let's see how good my memory is: Blacklaw, Angus, Elder, Adamson (center half: Cummings maybe?) Miller, Connelly, that Irish guy, Pointer, Robson, and .....

Anyhow .... congratulations Clarets:theband: I think it's great that the old Rovers/Burnley rivalry is back.
