I buy all I need on the web -delivered, but there are some things which are better bought when you can see them beforehand.
(I need some houseplants)

That is why, even though I despise team games, I welcome the World Cup, because all the herd instinct primitives are glued to their TVs, which makes venturing out less unpleasant.:D

Me thinks someone might change their mind, and start waving their little flag, if they win this competition.

'The Bolton News and Bolton Council have teamed up with Bolton Wanderers to kick off a World Cup-themed competition — with a great prize up for grabs.'

'Readers are being asked to come up with slogans for a series of posters to be displayed all over the borough.'

'The World Cup-themed posters centre around children playing football and show the potential health risks to children if dog owners do not pick up and dispose properly of their dog’s mess. '

Poster competition calling foul on dog owners (From The Bolton News)
