NO its not the end, we wern't that bad just pretty average against another very average side...workmanlike i think is the best you can say about both sides tonight!

Its the commentators that get on my wick...Saying Green's second half save was "Great"...no it wasn't...if he hadn't saved it..he should pack it in!...Why praise Heskey...again for nothing more than a run of the mill performance....yeah he works...he runs...but it takes him at least ten shots on goal to score one!!...No different than Jason Roberts really!

Andy Townsend may have a Sharp Tailor....but his Brain's decidedly dull!

Best Regards - Taggy

It's a point and could have been worse, but the reality is that England will be up against far better opposition if and when we get past the group stages..logic says we ain't going nowhere .. so we have to rely on hope!

Very disappointed on todays showing. Nobody able to run the game for England, where were the midfield? Lampard was a no show and the rest were chasing the states for lots of the game. Def. need to raise their game, play with some urgency and confidence. Lets hope they get the message or it,s another big let down.

It's a long competition, I'm hoping that when the opposition gets better, the guys will turn it up a couple of notches. It often happens that way.

And it ain't over till the fat lady sings; and she hasn't even arrived in South Africa yet.:D

I'm really peeved off; this was the worst possible result. Like everyone else, my heart was in an England win but my head said that was not going to happen. Therefore I had a tenner on a USA win. Normally, I don't put a deposit down in the bookies unless I'm 100% certain of free money in return so I've now lost out.

Just wondering about the Algeria game, I'm deciding between another draw or an England win and the Slovenia game, yet again a draw or or a Slovene win.

Did anyone see our lot 'singing' the National Anthem? I counted 2 singing, 3 mumbling words and the rest of 'em with their gobs shut. Pathetic! At least the yanks - who are just as dumb as our lot - had the decency to turn, look at their flag and stick their hands over their hearts.

Think this hand over your heart business is a bit over the top , something made popular by Ronnie Reagan, its got to the stage now its "the proper thing to do" and you get nasty looks if you don't it , sod it, to me its pure cant something akin to raising an outstreched right arm when a dead Austrian leader passed by .
