im making a habit of this .. said the england match would be a draw .. got that right .. my bro came for tea tonight ... as he was leaving he said what the result going to be .. i said Germany v Austrailia .. said 4-0 to germany .. he said laughed and said 2-1 to germany ... and whats the score at the min .. wi about 8 mins left .. 4-0 to Germany .. now do i visit the bookies with the next scoreline .. lol :D:D:D

my brother is .. hes visiting the bookies with the prediction for tomorrows game .. if he wins i get a cut ... thing is knowing my luck .. i'll have got it wrong .. denmark v holland ... is the one we going for .. :D:D:D

I think that had a lot to do with Black Power. In the '36 Olympics, the Americans did the hat over the heart thingy, and were roundly booed by the Krauts. The Americans are, in general, a proud and patriotic people ... noticed some of the Aussie players during their anthem also did the 'hand on heart' whilst others did (IMHO) the right thing .

Question for Aussie members of Accy web ....... do you or your family/friends do the 'hand on the heart' thing when your national anthem is played ?

Though there does seem to be about a six degree varience in an American salute.
