Easy...club comes before country. If some lower-ranking Spanish team were playing Hereford or Stevenage, I'd be rooting for the Spaniards all the way. And, as Dave has already intimated, how English are Man U anyway?...foreign players, foreign owners, foreign fans (Manchester's full of 'em on matchdays).

However, Stanley are your first team, so I'd never accuse you of being a plastic Manc, Ossy Kid. It's a pity you couldn't have dragged Barrie along when you first started going up Peel Park. If you had, he might never have strayed down the wrong path!

United have a damn sight more "English players" than the likes of Rovers...as for foreign fans...do you really excpect a club that gets 75,000+ on matchdays to be soley supported by English.
I'll say this again.. if a few thousand paying "foreigners" turned up at Stanley or Rovers on matchdays I doubt they'd be told to sod off at the gates.. ;)

A couple of thousand new supporters turning up at the Stanley would be welcome. As to where there from, personally I'm not that bothered. They could be from the Planet Neptune, as far as I'm concerned.

Quite right, mate, they'd be welcomed with open arms. However, I'm not the one whinging about "a load of foreigners", it's your fellow Man U admirer who's doing that. 'ave a word with him! ;)

There,s a difference between "supporting" their team and accepting their brass to fill Stanley's coffers. No contest. I don,t think I was complaining about "a load of foreigners" just about Englishmen supporting them over British teams.
