Re: Happy Birthday Fergie.

No doubt whatsoever, La creme were totally curdled. Rovers didn't play well but they certainly outplayed United and took their chances. What was SAF thinking? He has got a load of injuries but where was the famed back-up squad and to have Berbatov marking Samba at set pieces is beyond belief.
Perhaps Keane is in the same Lodge of the Porridge Gobblers Union as SAF is, and he, like the rest of the non-Rovers supporters doesn't want to see Keane sacked. I think it obvious Keane won't resign - if he gets sacked they have to pay his contract up so it will remain as it is - VFC are already late in paying back £10M to Barclay's
Ah well, the race is not over, for the top or bottom spot, so hopefully lots of good football to come.
My best wishes for the New Year to all, may your dreams come trues in 2012.

We are still only 1 off the top on goal difference, how far behind are the Scousers?;)
Anyway it will take some of the publicity away from Hannibal Suarez - hope KK appeals the ban, could go up to ten matches or so then:rolleyes:

Not overly fussed Barry mate as I'm not as rabid as some fans, if we don't buck up we don't get points it's that simple. :) But with some managers it really does grate.

As to KD, he's doing what any manager would/should do, stick up for his lads right or wrong. When it comes down to them getting punished for an infringement he should then have the nouse to accept the judgement, hands up & move on, end of. ;)

I will be very surprised if the Scousers pull it off tonight - they would no doubt rather lose than give La Creme the advantage

I think they must have too much on their minds other than playing football - Mancie put it so succinctly.
As Hannibal has been playing in Europe for a few years now the culture difference is a very lame excuse, and then to say what he has after the verdict when he has admitted using the N word - well, he, KW and the rest of the club must apologise for their behaviour. The owners could take tremendous flak over the attitude - anti-racism is so strong in the US, and to be associated with this will not go down too well with them and their US shareholders.:tongueout

I reckon his 70th must have been the signal for the rapid onset of dementia or he took them all out to celebrate - they were crap, but Newcastle scored a couple of fantastic goals. Still, no change in league position unlike at the bottom end.

Shame for City though, down to 10 men and 3 down at half time, they nearly nicked it.

Re: Happy Birthday Fergie.

Nothing changes much - we are up there close to the pinnacle, the rest, other than the NN Council House tenants are clinging on ( said to be short of players - after what they have frittered away?).
Bring on the scousers. Surprising how they can aplogise about one of their moronic supporters yet not apologise for the club's recent behaviour. I can see more problems arising for them when SAF plays Evra, then again, some numpties will no doubt have the temerity to say that he is deliberately provoking the lovely well behaved scouse supporters.
