What the scandal of the Doncaster Belles tells us about modern football

The first salvo has been fired. The eyes of the blazer brigade at the FA have turned into cartoon like '£' signs. Play up, play up and play the game, is slowly being changed to Pay up, pay up and pay the game.

Nazi tactics by stewards acting on behalf of the FA, attempting to silence people who play in a league based on merit who are summarily relegated for no other apparent reason than they aren't owned by a rich man.

Disgraceful, and the FA has the nerve to 'champion' fair play :mad:

Diabolical Guinness, football in this country is becoming a joke or should I say the people who run football are. The top clubs have too much clout now, its all about money, as is this case in women's football which is being displayed by this act. shame on the FA:mad:

agreed that the Doncaster Belles issue has done nothing but harm to the FA however it could be worse we could have the idiots from FIFA and UEFA running our domestic game
