Re: My new toy!

Ive got that picture framed, my friend gave it me when my RS6 arrived as a little 'keep safe'.

The Impreza is a nice machine, what age is yours if you dont mind me asking? I opted for an EVO8 for a while but the Impreza always seemed to have a special feel about it.

Thats a nice Impreza, i only asked the age due to the number of 98 99 00 plates out there with a stated 350bhp and actual 200bhp or less by the time the engine is worn out!. But the 05 Impreza is a cracking machine and more than capable of punching above its weight. Ive seen them taking on 911's before now. Although the few spoil it for the many who have good imprezas. Too often you see a knackered Impreza rattling down the high street making people cough with the fumes and cover there ears!. Nice car you've got there, must be fun in the snow.

very true about the older ones, u can pick them up for 2 grand now but the uk turbo's where only ever 216bhp but once u speak to the owner its 400bhp :D

there not great in the snow but i do have dccd on mine which helps me balance the power in the snow

Youll love your Audio A8, just so much power and lots of features. Although who ever bought it new must be crying!. I didnt pay £55000 for my first house. There are dozens of Audi part suppliers if your warranty has expired and most high end garages can carry out work at less than the £100 per Audi rate.

Happy driving & if you see a black RS6 out in Accrington it could be me :mosher:

:eek:That is a seriously seriously awesome car, my dream car TBH:cool:.

If i do see it i will be sure to give you a wave  think i might have seen this a few times before was devastated it was being driven sensibly, love the sound the audis make when driven in anger:cool:.

The TVR is a fantastic car but when Jump Leads are supplied by TVR with every TVR it tells you somthing!. Great cars when they work, i had the pleasure of driving a Speed 6 for 2 weeks. It started 10 out of the 14 days and was a real head turner. Not refined in anyway, just a pure driving car.

The 180bhp is no longer the case, had it chipped ( 20 to 30 bhp increase) The torque gain was fair at 60lb/ft taking it from 372lb/ft to around 430lb/ft. Had a high flow K&N filter installed and custom made stainless Powerflow exhausts put on ( combined they should gimme a few extra horses)

It’s already been dropped 45mm and sports RS4 alloys ( new boots were added with the above kit) heck, it was me birthday :) Shame I cant afford an RS4...one day maybe. Watch out for me little tractor at the lights, tis quite mean now :D
