Roman played this on Saturday at the Whalley "Conny" Soul Night, it packed the floor. A great night, a full across the board policy.
It's so long since it came out of my collection box. A nice 70's smooth dancer.

Believe me, Jay, our Candi ain't just a one-trick pony. She's got a large recorded back catalog and she's still making records and gigging now. Here's another slice of brass-fuelled Southern Soul.

Think she had another UK top tenner with her version of "Nights On Broadway", Jay. To my tastes, her earlier down home stuff is the best, though.

Taken from ELP's apparent last hurrah at the High Voltage festival in London, July 2010. Song begins about 25 seconds in after some spiel from messers Emerson and Lake.

Oh hearing this takes me right back to being fourteen.

I can still do a killer twist to it.

Though not wearing the plastic raincoat with the swastika on the back.
