one here for young shakermaker , believe it or not this made the charts in the UK , doubt if it made 'Top of the Pops' or 'Ready Steady Go' but definatly played on UK Television

When people talk about The Who and The Small Faces being the big mod bands of the 60's, they're talking garbage. THIS was the top mod band of the era and they also sold more albums in the UK in 1966 than any other British-based band, apart The Beatles and The Stones...

Nice one, SJ. No, it's not quite the deck...no one wore crash helmets back then! The second track, Marlena Shaw, is one of my all-time favourites.

And in a similar vein, here's one that used to pack the floor at Accy Disco whenever Big Mick Ward gave it a spin...
