Ukcowboy's band hits the road.......at last!
Hi there fellow Accywebbers, some time ago I put an ad on here for a keyboard player, and whilst I didnt recieve a posotive outcome,I did get some very encouraging messegse of good luck etc.
Well the band is now well and truly up n running and we have our first 'gig' coming up at the end of August in order to raise funds for the NSPCC, we are still rather rough around the edges, but felt that it would be a good idea to 'break the ice' and at the same time help a very worthwhile cause. So here are the details should anyone fancy a night out :- The Dirty Hat Band Appearing at:- Park View Social Club (Bottom Club) Bayley Street Clayton-Le-Moors Accrington on Friday 29th August 2008 Doors open @7.30pm Tickets priced at £3.00 availiable from the club (or via pm to me on here) Proceeds to NSPCC Raffle etc on the night. so there ya go, it would be great to see a few of you there! I somehow missed this thread originally! We are going away for 3 weeks on Sunday but will be back by the 29th. Will we need tickets in advance or can we just turn up? We never know when Busman is working or not until the last minute so we can rarely make advance plans. Hope it's a great night anyway.
