I like Country and Western music. I used to 'sing' (I use the term loosely)in a duo covering songs ,it's one of my favourite genres.

Fans of Country and Western music should tune into 'Joe Fish Country' : 2pm Radio Lancashire on Sundays. Joe plays country music recorded through the ages and is a regular traveller to America where he has interviewed many of the top stars from the genre. Highly recommend his show. |

Amazing song. I tend to lean to the Trent Reznor version BUT-Cash wrote it.Both versions I love for different reasons.

Re: Your Fav Country and Western Songs.
Sorry, walkinman, I loved everything Johnny Cash did- until this song and his last LP.
A very sad, depressed and sick man came through. His health, the loss of his wife etc. I know it's a reflection of how he was and felt at the time but I can't think it could ever be 'Your fav country and western song'. Now 'Jackson'-yes please. |

Re: Your Fav Country and Western Songs.
I am teased often for liking this sort of music.
I am going to Damnation festival this weekend and I go to Bloodstock every year as well-my acquaintances are mostly into their rock and metal, as am I,but just-not all the time :) I sometimes think some of them would disown me if they caught me on an introverted night & saw my playlist :) |
Re: Your Fav Country and Western Songs.
'Incredibly sophisticated'? Beyond me then.
I always thought the words were 'don't mean we can't sleep around', sugarmouse. It didn't ring right but hey, it was only a song. |
