I'll be going - so those of you who can't make it can get updates on 2BR (99.8FM) or www.2br.co.uk. Will try to bring a bit of detail on the trialists.

Is it going to be on the internet or are you doing a BBC and only doing the Local area?

See you all at the Inn2gether Stadium!

(and I thought Interlink Express was bad enough)

Re: Radcliffe Friendly

It is just updates, so hopefully it will be streamed with the music show on the website.

As for budget Mr. Cottier, these things aren't about money. They are about turning up to the games and doing some work...And you can't increase a budget of nothing...

Re: Radcliffe Friendly

Well I'll be grateful for the coverage Dan as I will be at my younger son's school leavers party - sure we'll be able to sneak in a mini radio!

Re: Radcliffe Friendly

The game finished 1-1 the scorer for Stanley was a trialist who I never caught their name...

Stanley put out two different teams in each half

I think the scorer was Alex Hay.

T be honest, I didn't see anything special tonight and I hope Coley's got some signings up his sleeve before the big kick-off.

i did like the look of that young right back in the second half. jamie nay he's called. looked solid, quick and has a huge throw. could push cav next season

Re: Radcliffe Friendly

Would have to improve greatly to get Cav's position, Cav is a great player for us!!!!

Adam Cottier 14-07-2005 22:53

Re: Radcliffe Friendly

Cafu01 14-07-2005 22:54

after watching the match last night, unless you improve 100%,you are going to struggle this season.the boro have only trained maybe twice since last season and looked alot sharper than the accy players.thanx to the fans who came along.

KIPAX 15-07-2005 09:18

Re: Radcliffe Friendly

silly observation mate... there was only two ot three accy players in the team.. the rest where trialists most of which we will probably never see again.... you really shouldnt make an observation on how good bad we are with that team :)

herberts enclosure 15-07-2005 09:22

Re: Radcliffe Friendly

just making a freindly observation, didnt realise you had so many trialists on show, still most of them werent very good.like the photos, especially the one of the herberts enclosure

webby1987 15-07-2005 09:27

Re: Radcliffe Friendly

i thought cav had a mare last nte.there is no real pressure for his position at the moment and competition is always good for the team.dont think nay wud be a bad signing

KIPAX 15-07-2005 09:29

Re: Radcliffe Friendly

Your right about most of them not very god.. hence my suggestion we wouldnt be seeing most again :)

The tall right back seemed to do OK... but no one else IMHO

JEFF 15-07-2005 09:38

Re: Radcliffe Friendly

A Jame Nay used to play for Morecambe Youth Academy, obviously not good enough for them.

Re: Radcliffe Friendly

Klebi looked good.....

sparkie 16-07-2005 08:50

Re: Radcliffe Friendly

if klebi was the tall slim african looking guy at centre half, i was very impressed.

He was very comfortable with the ball at his feet, looked to be quite quick, a good header of the ball, a good calm passer of the ball, and didn't mind bringing the ball out of defence but new when to get rid aswell.

Overall he looked the part and was a level above everybody else. I wouldn't mind seeing him in a stanley shirt this season, he looks a good player. But I'd like to see how he handles a better side than Radcliffe.

I think we must have been watching a different match. To me and some others I spoke to, at times he looked like he'd never played football before. Some of his short passing was woeful and his longer passing looked nothing more than a hopeful punt.
Having said that, he looked fairly strong in the air and reasonably quick on the ground. I just didn't see him as being any better than what we already have, which is a shame as we need to strengthen the defense.

I also noticed Robbie Williams telling him where to stand from time to time, which can't be a good thing as Williams needs all his concentration for himeself. ;)

KIPAX 16-07-2005 09:55

Re: Radcliffe Friendly

Maybe the poor quality around him made him look good... He is the right back i said looked OK .... I didn't realise he was supposed to be center half...

Yeah, it was nice to see him there. If he'd have been playing he'd have looked a class above most of the others on there. ;)
