Music on Matchday?
 

What I am looking for is some music that you would like to hear (apart form the Ultras obviously) over the tannoy on a matchday I know latest releases are good but are there any that I should know about that you would like to hear?? Let me know anyway.....

I take it you want something to get the ground going but not mental before match kick off like to replace 'things can only get better' song they play now something positive yeh?

You could always leaf through the 'what muzic are you listening to now' in bands & noise forum thread to get idea of what people are listening to so to give you more ideas Karenfaz that might help as well :)

that classical music with the clouds rolling that people can never remember, the one that baby Damon was born to on FOOLS N HORSES

root through some football CD'S, nothing too dated such as Three Lions or Vindaloo but Zadok the Priest or Mas Que Nada or the music from the Coca-Cola footy advert. All tunes that everybody knows even if they dont recognise the title.

Something atmospheric and vibrant. IMO anything that is along the lines of 'by a group or genre' will sound crap to somebody who isn't into that sort of music, I like Bryan Adams or Bon Jovi but I would n't expect 1000+ to listen to "shot down in a blaze of glory"

The lack of "music" during the last few home matches has been blissful.

The sights and sounds of Football are quite sufficient , thank you.

Is the music system up and running now? For the last few weeks I haven't been able to switch between the music, and my announcements - hence no music!! Look forward to getting back to normal.

I know what you are saying 'Henry' the Ultras do do us proud all I am asking is just for a little bit of music before kick-off and at half-time to waste those last few minutes before kick-off. Not to drown out anything that has already been heard. Also it's really for the kids as well to pass the time until kick-off it makes time go quicker but if you want to run a poll to see whether we should put music on or not............. I'm not talking rave/rock or anything just something to get everyone in the mood for football............. as well as that a number of people have come to both myself and other staff asking about music on a matchday so I'm just trying to implement that Accy fans may want???
