Well guess who's next? Yep top of the league (how??!!) Grays Athletic. How vital is this game? Cant put it into words. So looking forward to it - even more now that Sky have decided to show it so Im off down the pub a week Saturday to watch the Stanley boys go within a point of em :)

Can I have everyones predictions for this game posted in this thread please for the Prediction League competition by the deadline, which is kick-off (2 weeks today as we have a blank Saturday next weekend so plenty of time to get them in) on Saturday 12th November at 12pm GMT...

speaking to Garry Roberts after the game Saturday, and he did'nt thi nk he would be suspended for the Greys match. I'm not shure how it works for the totting up bookings.anyway with them playing 1-1. without them playing 3-1 to the Greys,

Been looking forward to this one more than any other - its just a few miles from my parents place so a chance to stop off and have a decent breakfast before the game, then over to my aunts pub for the rest of the afternoon and the evening. Great stuff!

Also have a few friends coming up from Surrey and Kent to cheer the Stanley on as their own team isnt playing that day.

Good to finally be back on line. Thank you Mastercare for taking a measly eight weeks to fix my set. Hope they go on to sponsor Greys then we can stand a chance of deposing them!
Having seen the southern boys in action this will be one tough cookie & although I would love a win a 2-2 draw will still be a good result against these boys. Come on Coly you know their strengths-now pick a squad to prove we can better a draw!

After seeing the performance from the drubbing given to Southport and the easy 3v0 win at York, me thinks a 2v0 win.......only because Grays seem to freeze at home..........good luck anyway!:)

Well done to all at the club for making us very proud yesterday. Especially as I had a cockney behind me in the pub for most of the game telling me how good Grays were!

Well done to the following people who correctly predicted a 2-1 win to the Red men :

MikeA, stanleybabe, rob, mthead, John_Timmins, Tinkerbelle, sparkie, maccawozzagod, keyco, jayb, myself and Crossy42.

What a day! Accy win 2-1, England beat the Aussies, then England beat the Argies and I got 5 points on the prediction league and a shed load of ackers - does it get any better ??? :D Prediction league table has now been updated to include the Grays result and can be seen in the usual place... Thanks for playing everyone...

Well done Jimbo, and I echo your sentiments about what a great day it was for England as well as for Stanley.
