What have we learnt from the 2 Halifax V Accrington games?
 

Well with both games over and done with here are the things and im sure you will agree have been learnt by both sets of fans.

1) Halifax Town are still the bigger club
2) Set plays are the only think to cost Halifax not taking all the points which means from open play were better
3) Accrington should be fined for having poor away facilites and having to let fans stand in the cold for 30 mins to get in the ground, Also lamp lights in flood lights should be banned. ( My bedroom light is brighter)
4) Halifax were the better team both games
5) Accrington Stanley will NOT win the league and im sure you all agree
6) The refs let Halifax down in both games
7) Halifax took the most away fans ( See Number 1)
8) Rory P is still a Accrington Hero

No need to reply guys just thought i would say what both sets of fans are thinking :D

AND STANLEY STILL ARE ABOVE YOU IN THE LEAGUE

1) Stanley are the biggest little club in the world
2)Halifax were the better team for 35 minutes of the second half in act1
3)Halifax should be fined for having cold sausages - and you should see the chairmans house, with all the light bulbs missing its darker than Molly Sugdens eyeliner

5) Accy Stanley may not win the league this year - but we may - we will see in May
6)the ref let himself down but was as bad for both teams

Sumner look at the title i said both games which means home & away which means i was on about how many you brought to shay and how many we took to wanky burnley ( oh i mean Accrinton sorry)

look Shay fans, the reality is that you'll never beat the Stanley, and that we are most certanly a bigger club (ask Henry Morton about our international fanbases) so get back to the rears of your sheep im sure they have missed you dearly.
So long, we'll probably give you a friendly in the summer when you need a big league club to visit your new field.

i dont support stanley but i am wondering if halifaxfan is the guy who asked me the way to the railway station and got directions taking him via the arndale center from quickfit :D

yeah ime a nasty sod but i did feel guilty when the train went over the bridge into the station as he was just turning down castle way ...

You want lists (& ones that don't repeat themselves....)

1. HTFC have a nice fat police bill for their hooligan element
2. ASFC have more points than HTFC from less games
3. ASFC played poor by our standards in both games & got 2 points
4. HTFC don't have enough going forward to win in the play offs
5. HTFC have 2 songs ASFC sang 40 odd
6. HTFC have a dull away support & the shay still has bits of streamer from 2004 blowing around
7. ASFC filled your ground with red & white, you filled ours with Burberry & vandalised the hoardings
8. Your 3 sided ground won't be finished for years cause of your own overspend
9. Your fans "brag" about drawing with ASFC yet we played in a pub league 5 years ago
10. Your fans "brag" about bringing more fans away than ASFC yet we had 200 at home 5 years ago

I think you’re protesting a little too much Halifax. You’re beginning to sound like a couple of bitter old wenches. Have pride in what your team have done for you and have pride in the fact that you’ve played one of the best teams around.

I think your lads played well on Saturday and deserved the appreciation shown by the Club and the Stanley Supporters, don’t belittle that because if you do you will be belittling yourselves.

What i cant understand is why they are always on this forum, do they not have thier own ? THE GAMES ARE OVER, STOP MOANING, WE ARE STILL TOP OF THE LEAGUE, AND THATS SOMETHING YOU CANT TAKE !!!

The way you rabbit on about being the "bigger" club, anybody would think that you were up there with the Exeters and Yorks of this world. In fact, your average attendance (1721) is only around 200 better than ours (1514). Pretty disgraceful, really, for a town which is about three times the size of Accrington!
